You can hear the fan, but I prefer to hear something working than not hearing it. The sounds lets you know that air is circulating and keeping the block from over heating. -

2024-12-02T00:00:00I like this product because of the price tag and how long is has held up on keeping my almost 11 year old xbox running. The bad part about it is it is loud. I have it set up with more then enough room for airflow but when I first turn on my xbox it sounds like the motors are struggling to turn on. After a little bit it gets quieter but still is somewhat loud. So that's why I gave it a 3/5⭐️
