2022-07-29T00:00:00I'm starting an Etsy bracelet making bracelet and this has been the perfect starting kit! I have not had any problems with the quality of string, and enjoy working with it. The gold and silver is a little thicker and harder to work with but still great! The threader did break on me but aside from that everything has been great quality. The gold and silver string is STUNNING. I have not really used the pens and had to toss them, so if your traveling be aware to not have them in there because they can leak. Its smaller than you think but there is a LOT of string and beautiful color choices. 1000% worth it, if your thinking about it, get it. The clippers also work great! Left a mason jar for sizing lmao. Only wish it came with the embroidery hoops; performs great! Size is great- love that it came in a little set that I can easily store. Amazing color selection. Great price!

(As stated, the set does not include fabric, hoops or instructions.) The box is sturdy and a very convenient place for storing all the tools. DMC is the gold standard brand of embroidery floss. The floss included in this set is nice but it is NOT DMC quality. For most people, that will not be a problem. Beautiful items can be produced using the floss in this set. If however, you are looking for something to give as a gift to an embroidery snob, you might want to expect that the floss will be useless to them.

2021-05-04T00:00:00I bought this to cure some Pandemic boredom, mostly for taking a walk down nostalgia-lane by making friendship bracelets.. I was really happy with what I received for the price - I spent a lot more buying embroidery floss separately, AND had to wind it onto the bobbins myself. I will agree that the kit isn't super sturdy, but I had low expectations for the cost, and it serves it's purpose perfectly - I've had no issues with mine.
