It is very easy to use, cleans well and i like the built in filter but still use the paper filters, just a preference. The only negative comment I have is that it shuts off in one hour, which is too short a time for a full 10 cups so I have to reheat coffee in the microwave now. I can't drink 10 cups in an hour!! My old machine never shut off, so that was not an issue but did have to remember to do it myself otherwise a burnt pot. Overall , I like it but wish it would stay hot another hour so I didn't have to use the microwave each day to heat up my coffee. -

The carafe lid doesn't want to pop off of the carafe (for easy cleaning of the carafe), and I am afraid to force it--no big deal. I use a paper filter along with the filter. Not important: The maker is the same black and chrome/silver color as my other 3 counter top appliances, blends in perfectly with them, and I really like that, as they sit next to each other. Some coffee makers have an automatic warmer plate shut off after a couple of hours--this one does not, but I don't think I would want it, anyway. I would need an automatic shut off of no less than 4 hours. I also like that this is 5 cup, instead of 4. The water level cup markings on the water fill window equal the cup level markings on the carafe. One cup actually measures out to 5 ounces or 2/3 of an 8 ounce cup--same as the other makers I have had (why I do not know). I recommend without reservation. -

2023-05-23T00:00:00Krups is my favorite brand of coffee maker and I have been buying this brand for about 30 years. I have had to downsize, so this is my first 5 cup coffee maker, and this smaller Krups is just as good as the larger ones with the exception of the pour spout. You must pour slowly at first or it will spill over the sides of the spout. I'm a huge fan of the cone shaped filter as it makes a better flavored coffee, and the coffee out of this machine is always hot. I do wish it had an automatic shut off feature, but I won't give up quality for higher technology. This one is easy to use, and I know it will last a long time. -

2023-05-10T00:00:00I bought this for a casita I might AirBnB but decided I would try it out first and now I might have to buy another. It's simple to use, comes with the built in filter, and when I add a lot of extra coffee, it makes a tasty pot of drip coffee. Does it compare to my moka pot? No. But I didn't expect it too. Because the filter cup is smaller, the coffee grinds can get a little stuck to a piece on the lid when I fill it up but it's easy enough to wipe off. -

2023-05-25T00:00:00The life of this coffee maker lasted only not even a year --- but it is easy to use, clean and the glass container \carafe if handled properly lasted more than the life of this coffee maker. Overall, though pretty good coffee maker IF ONLY will last more than a year --- also, need to reduce the price if this coffee maker will only last less than a year. -

2023-05-17T00:00:00We needed a small coffee maker for our RV and this works great. It brews a good pot. 5 cups (the max) is just enough for the 2 of us to have 2 (or 1 large-ish) cups each. The re-usable filter means we can brew multiple pots in one day (if we're feeling just that sliggish) without having to use multiple filters, or if we're camping off grid and don't want to deal with the cleanup we can use the disposable. Very convenient features and brews a good pot of coffee (which we drink black, so taste is important). -

2023-05-30T00:00:00Extremely easy to set up very easy to use Bruce a great cuppa coffee. Seems like it’s a sturdy well-made machine that I hope is more durable than the Mr. coffee machine. I just dumped in the garbage that only lasted one month I only make one pot of coffee a day so let’s see how this one last week for a follow up in 30 days. -

2023-05-05T00:00:00This little gem makes an outstanding cup of coffee. Because it doesn't have all the bells and whistles, just an on/off switch, it's idiot proof. I have no idea why several reviewers complain about filling it with water. I pour the water directly from a Brita Water Filter with no problem at all. The lid stays open on its own, too. The supplied cone filter does NOT allow residue into my cup. All I have to do is remember to shut it off, which is not difficult. Seriously, if you simply want a cup of HOT coffee with flavor that screams YES . . . by all means, this one is a winner. If on the other hand, you're challenged by not having clocks, and different settings complicant things, this might not be for you. As an aside, it looks good, too. -

2023-05-17T00:00:00So far it is exactly what I needed and wanted. I can’t express enough how much I like that this coffee maker has only one button. I have absolutely no use for timers and all that other mess. It’s also extremely nice having a screen that drops in for a permanent filter. No need to purchase those anymore. It’s like anything else, keep it clean and it’ll take care of you. I love it.
