2025-02-06T00:00:00Not sure what that other review for the Alienware M18 R2 using 64gb of this ram was about. But on the latest bios 1.11.0 I was able to get it running and overclock it to OVL2 with Intel XMP 1 It’s running great at 5600mhz. I did have some issue after install and ended up needing to reset the bios to default after installing it. But after figuring that out and rebooting a bunch it’s working great. I had to go back into the bios and enable overclocking for the ram again. But that’s a one time thing. So far this ram exceeds expectations. I had 2 16gb 6000mhz sticks before. And all over the internet people claim you don’t need more than 32gb. Well I can tell you that if you play WoW and have lots of addons, other programs running in the background, and a bunch of internet tabs open you hit that 32gb and everything locks up. Now edge no longer freezes and the most I’ve seen used still gave me 44gb of ram headroom. I’m no longer worried about it. But as someone who works in IT I could tell it was a bottleneck. Oh also I’m running windows 11. All drivers and bios are updated to the latest and my M18 has the I9 and RTX 4090. I can tell you now I won’t need to upgrade the ram again. And unless you are a content creator I don’t think you will need the 48gb x2 option. Plus even though it overlocks it only runs at 4800mhz and has a higher CL. If you have an Alienware M18 R2 look no further then this ram from Gskill. It was worth the price. Just make sure you install a newer bios then 1.7.0 like that other review. It seems like compatibility got added after but I’m not sure in which revision. -

2025-02-06T00:00:00The G.SKILL Ripjaws DDR5 SO-DIMM 32GB (2x16GB) kit is fantastic! I installed it in my laptop, and it was a quick and easy upgrade. The 5600MT/s speed delivers fast, smooth performance, making multitasking, gaming, and video editing noticeably quicker. -

2025-01-29T00:00:00Swapped this into my laptop a couple months ago to upgrade the ram. Everything fit without issue, the computer started up on the first try, and I’ve had no reliability issues. I’m not a power user so I couldn’t tell you if the speed is making a huge difference, but I’d say this does what it says on the tin. Keep an eye out for a competitive price and these will definitely do the job. -

2025-01-25T00:00:00G.Skill ripjaws RAM memory (32GB) turned my MSI Raider GE67 HX , oled 240hz gaming laptop (3070ti) into a renewed gaming beast. Now that the 50 series cards have hit the market, I felt like my computer was running a little on the slow side. Some screens lagged and some apps seemed too resource heavy to run smoothly. Installing the new RAM , from 16GB to 32 GB, instantly made the computer run like the day I got it. Thanks! -

2025-01-18T00:00:00Used in a ROG Strix G18 laptop (2023) with 4080 and 13980hx. Kit was 16x2(32g total). The timing is tight and better than the factory Samsung ram and @ 5200mhz the overall speed and latency is much better than stock. My CPU in 3DMark Timespy went from around 19800 to 20700 just from a ram upgrade. Super stable and has allowed me to actually run more aggressive settings in XTU for the undervolt and overclock. -

2023-05-17T00:00:00Puedo comprobar que funciona con Asus Rog Strix G16, modelo i7 con 4060 (2023), únicamente instala primero un solo stick deja que haga Boot, y después coloca el segundo y no deberías tener mayor problema. -

2023-05-10T00:00:00This worked on my Asus Scar 18 4090. Can confirm it was picking up proper timings out the box and TimeSpy CPU scores increased by about 1000 points. -

2024-08-09T00:00:00I have an Alienware m16 R1 (AMD variant) which had 2x SK Hynix HMCG88AGBSA095N 32GB RAM running @ 5200MHz with a latency of 42-42-42-84. So I ordered this G.Skill Ripjaws kit and got about a 10% boost in performance according to AIDA64 Memory benchmark and MaxxMEM2. This G.Skill kit gave me a latency of 38-38-38-84. I simply opened the bottom panel, replaced them with the new kit and gave the laptop some time to retrain the memory then it booted straight away.
