2023-05-20T00:00:00This makes ice, but the machine is not a freezer or refrigerator, so the ice begins to melt immediately. It takes a long time to make ice, the manual says it makes ice in 9 minutes, that is not true. Also, advertising says to put this out when you have guests or parties for ice on demand. That is laughable. This is really an ice machine for one. I make ice and put it into freezer bags and do enjoy the fresh tasting ice. I don't like fridge ice makers or ice cube trays, as the ice picks up that weird freezer/fridge taste and smell. I was buying bagged ice until I got this machine. It's fine, but I'm not getting ice on demand in 9 minutes like I had envisioned.
