2020-06-18T00:00:00This machine works very well. I have made over a hundred seals in the short time I have had it and it hasn't let me down once. It is equipped with a very strong pump which creates plenty of suction to expell all the air from the bag so your food will stay fresh longer. It automatically senses when all the air has been evacuated from the bag and then makes a secure seal. None of the many seals I have made so far have leaked. The controls are very simple. You can choose between a strong or gentle seal depending on your needs. For example, if you are sealing something delicate like potato chips, you choose gentle and none of them get broken. The machine is so powerful that if you seal your chips using the strong suction setting they will literally be pulverized to dust. You can also choose whether you are sealing wet or dry items. I was bagging a bunch of chicken today and used the wet setting and achieved a great seal each time. I believe the sealing strip heats for a bit longer to overcome any moisture so you get a great seal no matter what you're sealing. Another nice feature is that there is a space to hold your roll of bags, as well as a cutter so you can make the perfect size bag each tume. This is incredibly convenient and saves a lot of time and guesswork. No more estimating bag size and having some come out too small and wasting material. I compared many vacuum sealers in this price range, and I'm fairly confident that the Toprime vacuum sealer is the best bang for your buck. -

2022-07-23T00:00:00Received the replacement item and it failed to work properly. AGAIN! Sealed without vacuum and then it vacuumed without sealing. I ended up returning the item and purchased a new one at a local discount big box store. No thanks China!

2023-08-16T00:00:00i missed being able to send this junk back by two days. i can not return it but i can warn others to not buy this product. i guess i will have to throw this in the trash and buy a different one. I have waisted a roll of 8" bags and the smaller bags that came with the sealer do not seal. the vacuum pump runs about 2 minutes then shuts off and no seal. i have three bags that did seal and two hours later air leaked back in the bag. about six bags did seal so in the freezer tgey go. label me as frustrated and have a nice day.

2018-11-14T00:00:00Below was my original review. After hearing from the manufacturer after they read my negative review they provided a video showing how the device works. It works fine but the locking function is tricky - after inserting the bag to be sealed you have to close one side first and make sure you hear TWO CLICKS. A single click does NOT really lock it. Once you do one side repeat on the other side - again make sure there are TWO CLICKS. If it is closed in this manner the vacuum sealer works perfectly

Big learning curve for me RE: placement of bags to correctly suction out the but after several practice time I got the hang of it. My only complaint is how difficult it is to get both sides of the unit to CLICK shut. If both sides don't CLICK down there is little to no suction and your bag will seal shut, but still with air inside. Lightweight and small enough to store easily. Nice, inexpensive little sealer. -
