2023-05-10T00:00:00First time using a vacuum sealer. Works well. Bag material comes on a roll and is open on both ends. You cut off the amount you need using the built-in cutter, seal one end, insert food, and then insert the open end into the vacuum area and hit the button. Done. -

2023-05-17T00:00:00So I've never owned a vacuum sealer. The direction were simple and got me right through it. I havent used all the functions but had to let everyone know that it wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be, but I did cut a few bags to short trying to size things up and forgetting it needed extra room. I'm really going to enjoy having this around. All features seem easy to use and clean up is easy. Gotta love it.

2023-04-25T00:00:00We used the Bonsenkitchen to seal a bunch of freshly cut apple slices. We also sealed a freshly cut piece of Steak. There is a very important trick to this and that is keeping the film material absolutely clean and dry in the area where the seam is going to be. Any food particles or moisture in the sealing location will cause an air bubble where the seam will pop loose, or the vacuum will not be able to draw down. If you're doing multiple bags, take advantage of the "cool down period" to wipe the interior of the vacuum chamber and keep everything dry. Always keep the film roll in the storage compartment away from moisture or food debris that will interfere with a good seal. Avoid the urge to open up the machine after it stops making a pumping noise. Wait for ALL the lights to go off first otherwise you will ruin the project with a cold seal.

2023-05-02T00:00:00The Bronsenkitchen Vacuum Food Sealer is well made and looks nice on counter. It is much easier to operate and does a better job than the name brand it replaced. When sealing, all you have to do is push down the end of you bag into the slot, shut the lid and push the button. On fresh meats and other moist items, you get a quick strong suction and seal before the juices get to the top of bag. All the accessories work and neatly store in back of sealer. Have been sealing foods over many years, and several vacuum sealers, and love this one.
