2024-10-17T00:00:00I found the two handles much more comfortable to use through a season of New England snow (full disclosure: it was lighter last year than in the past). I bought the shovel at the end of the season on sale and used it all last winter. It held up well and once I got the hang of using both handles it was easier on my back, hands, wrists, shoulders and knees. If you have inflammation in these areas you know what I’m referring too! I still don’t like shoveling and only shoveled about 150’ walkway but that was plenty for my ability. The blade was nice and sharp leaving a clean path without the need to go over it repeatedly. -

I was extremely pleased to find that this shovel now comes with a 2-year warranty, with cheap options for up to 5 years of warranty. You cannot beat it for the price.

2023-03-23T00:00:00Collapsible and easy to strap to a backpack. Not super sturdy but lightweight which is a plus for backpacking. Winter tents are heavy, expensive, and cold. Snow caves are light, cheap, and warm. This can move a lot more snow than a mini shovel.
