2024-09-14T00:00:00Used during a recent bbq event. Product seem to have kept flies away. You need a lot of room to keep amongst the food being served. Manufacture should provide needed batteries. I imagine in general that the product is useful.

2023-08-11T00:00:00So be aware, despite the language in the promotion material these do not work for ALL flying insects. We tested them in two locations and they are of no use for wasps or bees. For flies I imagine, and am told by others that they do work. We wanted to deter wasps in particular and was led to believe that they might work. Yes, I know they are called fly fans. Lesson learned. I have no problem with their construction or operation - that was good. But our problem is not flies. I returned them.
