2024-01-07T00:00:00I loved this mic for the few months it worked. The sound WAS great and it WAS easy to use. I bought it in July. This past week (January) I plugged it into my iPhone and noticed after I'd done some recording that it didn't work. I looked for troubleshooting info on the sorry excuse for an instruction book that came with it and for ways to contact the company but of course that doesn't exist these days for cheap junk from overseas. Both of the mics and the part you plug into the phone has been kept in the original box so it's been protected from damage....no reason it shouldn't work. So anyway, I unplugged it from my phone and it turned right on when I plugged it into my iPad, but that's not what I use to record video since it's so much better on my phone. I tried plugging it into my phone again and after some wiggling, I got the little green light to come on on the part you plug into the phone, but it still doesn't record any sound. So since there are no helpful humans to talk to, I guess I'm stuck with a cool microphone shaped paperweight. So so so disappointing. -

2024-12-19T00:00:00It's good if you're a beginner making content like me, the sound quality is good, nothing wow but it sounds very good, I didn't like that the clip to attach to the microphone doesn't fit well but they are small it doesn't matter, it lasts a long time charged and its range is very good. -

2024-08-28T00:00:00Even for cheap quality, both in build and size, it worked and sounded better than i thought it would. Drained my battery quickly. And one night, the receiver broke and that was it. Less than a month after.

While it isn't the expensive pro mics, for the price point, I was impressed on how usable it was. The ability to be able to be away from the phone and record is really a bonus. Just gotta be careful not to get the mic too close or it will over modulate...but real easy to use, turn on the mic, plug it in and it just works. 5 stars for price point and usefulness, however, it is not the high end professional sound you'd get from products costing 10 to 50 times more, but for the content folks used to seeing, it does the job! I should have bought the one with two mics though.

2024-10-15T00:00:00Don't expect top notch audio and you will be well satisfied with this microphone. Decent range and a more than acceptable sound quality when filming with a phone outside. Any newbie to video blogging should practice with this device before spending on a high quality device.

2024-04-24T00:00:00Fantastic bit of kit! Charged the mic fully in ten minutes, plugged the receiver into my Android phone and was able to record pin-sharp audio 30ft away from my phone!! Brilliant. No idea what the maximum range is but I bought it to build a court case against noisy nuisance neighbours who have made my life miserable for 3 years and they live above me so range isn't important. It does say some Android phones don't work with it but my Samsung Galaxy A13 had no issues at all. Instant success! Very pleased and definitely recommend this product!

2024-08-08T00:00:00I'd noticed on phone audio recordings there was obvious breathing noise when doing any recordings using the built-in microphone. This helped isolate that and remove it from all future recordings, very compact so easy to store away when not using.
