2024-12-31T00:00:00I bought this for my front porch for deliveries. It was very easy to assemble, I was able to do it myself in about 20 mins. No tools needed. Has kept out rain and snow and is so far holding up to Michigan weather changes. Looks good and holds a good amount of stuff. I have a sign on it and so far all deliveries have been placed in it. No issues with anyone who makes a delivery to my house.

2022-10-22T00:00:00The product seems well made. Physically it goes together easily. The steel bars are square tubular to add rigidity to the front, top and rear panels. It is not a steel frame. The rest of the box is a plastic resin of decent thickness Screws are used to hold plastic strips that hold the steel tubs in the channel in the panel and to attach the plastic hinges, closure/lid support mechanism, and lock brackets. The panels themselves snap together with additional limited support from the steel tubes. A few extra assembly parts such as screws are included. It does come with an assembly booklet that has virtually no text, only pictorials that can be confusing unless you have seen the unit assembled, to begin with. Some panels have duplicate names to add to the confusion. The whole process reminds me of putting together a jigsaw puzzle. The manual suggests you need a mallet to put the panels together but I found it unnecessary. A few moderate fist taps secured the panels together. It also suggests it takes 2 people to assemble but I was able to do it alone without much issue by using a wall for panel support when putting the panels together. There is something like 36 screws in the assembly. Using a manual screwdriver could be quite tiring. I suggest using a small electric screwdriver to save your wrist. Just be sure to set it for a light torque as the plastic holes are easily stripped if too much torque is applied. While it looks waterproof I have not actually tested it. You can sit on it and it seems solid for that but it is just a flat plastic top to sit on. There are no provisions on the top for placing a cushion on top of it to keep it from sliding off. The color is medium grey. There are non-adjustable plastic feet molded into the ends of the box. They include a pathetic combination lock of the type you typically see used for securing dual zipper pulls in luggage. I suspect it is not rust-resistant. The only security the lock is likely to provide is keeping honest people honest or keeping children out of the box. Now that I have it together I think I will like it.
