2019-03-09T00:00:00At first, I couldn't get this app to move to the applications folder on my Mac, so I couldn't make it work properly. After a few short conversations by email with EZALink Team, the problem was resolved. For some reason, my Mac requires me to hold down the CMD button while I move the app. It worked; it has been updated, and I'm learning to use it. This has never happened to me before, so perhaps others will have this problem. The app does what I want, and it's not too complicated. There are a number of Youtube videos that explain the mundane details of making it all happen, and then when you see it happen, it's great. CAD is new to me, so it was difficult to imagine what could happen, and it still amazes me that all of this takes place, at this price, and so easy. I have toyed with AutoCAD and CorelCAD, but they do essentially the same thing, at least from my perspective, and they cost many hundreds of dollars. This is a perfect way to start with CAD. If I need more, I guess I can always spend more money. -

2022-11-08T00:00:00For a very basic program this inexpensive software is ok. Starting a plan is challenging, Inserting doors/Windows , etc is tricky. printing a plan to scale is very difficult. But if you just want to play around with some ideas for a space , this will be fine.

2018-08-09T00:00:00I've never used one of these layout apps before but I have manually drawn layouts before. I have been able to learn how to use most of it fairly quickly but wasn't immediate or intuitive but that's just fine. I am having fun learning. I have two outstanding gripes though: (1) windows and non-hinged doors can't easily be seen in many of the lay-out views unless you enlarge it a lot at which point you cannot see the whole project. Making windows and doors a different color from the walls would help, or putting end brackets that stick out slightly from the walls indicating where "something" is would work; (2) having a slight transparency sliders so furniture could be put on carpets without losing the idea that there's a rug under these thing, etc. or having the ability to indicate which items go on top or "in front"; give the user the ability to add or delete categories (I keep putting things in Miscellaneous for lack of anywhere else to put them). I also think there are far too few items that can be used and maybe the styles and designs are a little too specific (using a more generic "compact car" rather than a specific model, or "motorcycle" since the place could be housing a Harley-Davidson gang) would work better, maybe even making it more country specific (bathroom facilities in the US differ from those in Japan). I wish the app came with some general Textures too--fabric, leather, woven, felted, fur, kind of like that to give a real general feeling. Colors should also have some general patterns: plaid, pastel floral, geometric, pencil strips, bold strips, paisley. All this should come in the software and more should be available through downloads, even if there's a slight cost involved for the add-ins. -

2017-03-07T00:00:00I installed the program on my home desk top Dell which is running Windows 10. The install went fast and without problems. I found the software easy to use. It has characteristics the same as many other types of software. The manual that comes with the software gets you off to a good start. It only took a few sessions to gain a good feel as to how the program works. I especially like to click & drag of components into the layout. The wide variety of components are to scale and speed up the design process. There was also a link which allowed you to go on-line and download additional components for free. I can not believe the capabilities for such a low price.

2019-12-25T00:00:00I have been using your product, Sweet Home 3D, for several days now and am very satisfied with the results. I bought and used Broderbund 3D Home Architect about 10 years ago and found it useful but very limited. Sweet home has several advantages for me, most useful is the sizing of all the elements, including the furniture. The ability to drag everything around is also well implemented, truly object-oriented. And the inclusion of a printed manual makes initial use much faster to grasp.

2021-01-04T00:00:00I have experience using AutoCAD before I retired, I was missing be able to update a plan of my home as I made changes. When I was looking for something I could use for me to produce a plan of my home I saw this, it was easy to use and gave me the capability to produce a 3D plan of my home. Still learning how to down load extras but very please with my purchase.

The download link that is provided takes you to a login screen, which does not give you the opportunity to create an account. The problem hotline is a marketing site, sorry not wasting time on being marketed to. Experienced that before. Result being, paid $20 for a cup coaster.

2023-11-15T00:00:00Delivered promptly. No trouble at all loading it onto my laptop. But I am struggling to work out how to use it properly. It’s not as intuitive as the program I am replacing which, unfortunately, does not work on my new laptop. I would not actually recommend this.
