2024-12-12T00:00:00I didn’t know what to expect with this kit, but it’s HUGE. So many needles, a variety of colors, and quite a few accessories to complete your project. I made this ornament for a friend and haven’t finished refining it yet, but it still looks adorable. Next steps will be to add details and smooth out the fly-aways. I do wish they’d included a few cores or a larger amount of “junk” wool to use as filler since the packets of colored wool are so small, but that’s no big deal. -

2024-12-23T00:00:00This is a nice beginners needle felting kit and gets a lot of supplies and tools in one package. They’re not top quality supplies, but most definitely usable and good for beginning. The main thing to understand is that the wool included is in super small amounts per color, you’ll need to get more wool to make much of anything. These small amounts of wool included a variety of colors are great for adding small accents, but plan on getting core wool for the insides of projects and larger quantities of your favored colors for most needle felting projects. It’s a good start on the hobby, though.

2024-11-06T00:00:00I like to dabble in different crafts and found felting to be interesting after doing a small project. I wanted to try some other things, but didn't want to invest a lot of money. This little set hit the mark. All the tools you "need" and plenty of nice color options. It did come in a nice sturdy cardboard box that I've been using to keep it all contained. I don't know if this is the best quality, pretty sure it's not, but for someone just starting, or dabbling with a few projects, it's perfect.

I was surprised to find out how expensive some of the items are when purchased alone and that this kit has so many of them for the price. You get a great amount of so many colors of will, scissors, needles with all different bands, finger guards, so many things to list. It's a perfect way to start out in the craft and had so far given me and my child multiple hours of fun together time! Everything you need to get started, make many different items of your choosing and create fun and cute gifts or decor. Highly recommend! -

2025-02-03T00:00:00There were 40 colors of wool, but it comes in tiny bags. The picture leads you to believe you're getting what other suppliers offer. I highly doubt the quantity is equal to the others. The quality is lower. The needles are also of lower quality. The felting mat is nothing but styrofoam. However, I will say for a starter kit, it's probably still worth the money. Just don't let it judge the hobby. Seek out other suppliers. There are wools that 'stick' together much better. I bought this for the color selection -- and if you just need a little of a color, it works.
